This Vintage Pierce Street Racer Bike was made by The Pierce Cycle Company in Buffalo, New York somewhere in 1906 to 1916. The George N. Pierce Company started manufacturing bicycles in 1891 and later produced Motorcycles and the Pierce Arrow Automobile. The Pierce Arrow name also made it to quite a few Pierce Bicycles. Pierce was a well respected name, back in the day, producing quality bicycles with out a inflated price. Pierce Cycles are highly collectible because of their Unique and Superior Construction, Widely considered the upper echelon of Antique Bicycles.

1910 Iver Johnson Truss Bridge Roadster Track Bike

This Vintage Fixed Gear Racing Bicycle was a modeled after Major Taylor’s own Track Bicycle. This Roadster featured light steel tubing and designs specified by Taylor himself, The Truss Bridge was added to the frame for durability for off track street use. This Frame gained Iver Johnson much strength notability, know as ” Trust the Truss “. Major Taylor is a Famous Black Racer out of the 1890′s, who endured racial criticism ( often banned from American races ), but still rose to the top of the racing ranks. Major Taylor’s racing career flourished in Europe ( where sportsmanship out weight racism ) in the early 1990s winning the majority of races he entered. Taylor’s Success and sponsorship by Iver Johnson greatly helped the success Iver Johnson Bicycles.

1898 Antique Davis Dayton Model 22 Special Road Racer Bike

This beautiful old 1898 olive green Dayton Model 22 Special Road Racer Fixed Gear Bicycle was manufactured by the Davis Sewing Machine Company out of Dayton Ohio. Dayton Bicycles were high quality, light weight, and considered a Premiere Bicycle of the era. This Special Road Racer was a reinforced version of their Special Track Racer and was suitable for street use. Davis Sewing Machine Company also produced the rare Harley Davidson Bicycle, but being a true bicycle enthusiast “The Dayton” has more credibility in my book.
