This Elgin Miss America Bicycle was Sears’s top on the line Ladies Bikes in 1941. Although she was the Cats Meow back in the day it’s the Rats Meow Now. Elgin was the Brand name of the Bicycles Sold by Sears Department Stores before World War 2 and this particular Elgin was manufactured by Murray of Ohio. This Elgin Rat is rebuilt Ratty as found, she rides smooth, and looks more like a Brawler than Miss America.

Patina Patina Patina, this 1941 Elgin has a Tank, Unique Ridged Elgin Gothic Fenders, Amazing Skirt guard & Chain Guard, Working Horn, Dual Headlights that are working and retro fitted with High output and Efficiency LEDs, Dropstand Kick Stand, and Deluxe Saddle. The bike has Painted Drop Center Rims Laced to Elgin Finned Air Cooled Hubs. This Elgin is a Full Size Ladies Adult Ballooner Bike with 26″x 2.125 Black Wall Tires. She is Kinda a Tough Broad, although the Bike was the Cats Meow, The Patina was to prime to Destroy. Now Shes a Bad Old Ladies Ride that can be ridden Daily.
