This old 1941 Hawthorne Comet Cruiser Bike has seen some serious action, acquiring paint, scratches, scrapes, scars and when I found this beast I knew it was a 911 Lux Low call to bring her back to life. The Comet was one of Ward’s Hawthorne Upper Line Bikes and this particular one was made by H.P. Snyder “aka Rollfast” for Wards Department Stores.

Radical Hiawatha Rat Rod Cruiser Bike with Wicked Patina, a Shelby AirFlo Frame, ShockEase Fork, Skiptooth Drive & Long Tank. This Bike was originally made by Shelby Bicycles for the Gambles Department Stores. Gambles was one of Shelbys Biggest customers, selling Bikes that were badged and branded as Hiawatha’s. This Hiawatha Rat Rod is adorned with some of Shelbys top features and a Patina to make her one Bad Rat Ride.
