The Beckley Ralston Company was a large Motorcycle, Bicycle, and Automobile Supply Company out of Chicago Illinois. It seems the company may of started as a bicycle supplier and added Motorcycle and Automobile parts as they were invented. Beckley Ralston sold high grade bicycles and parts, early on they carried the Davis Sewing Machine built Dayton Bicycle Line and also had their own Private label Bicycles.

This Stylish bike is a 1917 Wards Hawthorne Deluxe Arch bar or Truss bridge Bike that was made by Arnold Schwinn & Company. There are a few years in the mid to late teens that Schwinn supplied bicycles to the Wards Department stores to be badged their house brand ” Hawthorne “. Early Schwinn are not very common nor are Schwinn built Hawthorne thus making this bike quite a find.

The Racycle was the top of the line bicycle made by The Miami Cycle & Manufacturing Co. out of Middletown Ohio. Miami Cycle & Manufacturing Company produced high quality Bicycles from the 1990s to the 1920s. The Racycle boasted its unique hanger that provided better balance. You can credit Miami Cycle to be one of the great over designers of the time but that uniqueness also make them so collectible. As a collector your will most likely look past many Miami Bicycles until you are a True Connoisseur and then the Miami Cycle will be on the fore front of your collecting. This Green 1939 New World Racer Featured: the Latest approved racing lines, Superior 3 piece cranks, sprocket, Schwinn Dural racing hubs, wood road racing rims, tubular tires, track drop handle bars, Brooks saddle, and light weight pedals.

This Antique Schwinn Track Bike belonged to U.S.A. Olympic Racer Chester Nelson Jr. and was taken to the 1948 London Olympics, unfortunately it was a back up bike and was not raced. The 1948 US Olympic Cycling Team was coached by Chester Nelson Sr. (Father), who also raced in the 1928 Amsterdam, Netherlands Olympics for Team USA. The Bike is well used, loved, raced, and came out of a barn of an aging Chester Nelson Jr. about 20 years ago.
