This 1941 Firestone Bullnose Cruiser Bike has great Patina and Character to match it’s age. This Prewar bicycle was made by Colson Corp. Elyria, Ohio for the Firestone Tire Department Stores. It’s a Rare Bicycle and was only in Production about one year, Pre World War 2, and did not resurface after the war. 1940 and 1941 were great years for Amazing Ballooner bikes, I easily feel that Colson made some of the Best Bicycles out those years, even rivaling the absolute Quality of Schwinn Bikes.

Vintage 1941 Wings Marathon Ladies Ballooner Bicycle, made by Colson Corporation Elyria, Ohio. The Wings Marathon Line, and or Badged Bikes were sold in the Goodyear Tire Stores. The Wings Marathon was Goodyear’s third tier bike line, sold as a Economic bike, that was fully equipped and less expensive as the top two lines. Economic usually meant the lack of bright chrome and more painted parts.

This Antique Fattire Cruiser has all the Deluxe Features: Chrome Fenders & Zeppelin Chain Guard, Head Light, Tail Light, Cross Braced Handle Bars, Horn Tank with Horn, Deluxe Saddle & Pedals, Rack, Truss fork, and Drop Stand. The 1941 Iver Johnson Super Mobike, as with many other 1941 bikes, was Unique Design that would not reappear after World War 2, when bicycle manufacturing resumed.
