Vintage Pinarello Montello 54cm Red Racing 16 Speed Road Bike with a Beautiful Campagnolo C Record Parts Group. The Pinarello Montello was Pinarello’s Flag ship ” Top of the Line ” Bicycle, and take a look at her She’s a Beauty. The Frame and Fork are Columbus FRX Steel Tubing, FRX was a High End tube set Specifically made for Pinarello.

 I suspect the bike is a 54cm and measures 52cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube or 53.5cm Center to Top of the top tube. The top tube is 53cm center to center and the Head tube is 112mm tall. The Serial Number is H 19XX I had trouble dating it and only can speculate late 1980s to early 1990s. My notes say 1993 but cannot figure where this number came from. I think the Bike is used, but Barely, Although some parts look NOS, It is Stunning, has Real Nice Original paint, it has very few nicks and a smudge that are hard to spot, top tube sticker has slight peal. She is pretty immaculate, barely used or somebody’s restoration. The bike has Campagnolo Corsa Record Parts and all look NOS: Cranks, Front and Rear Dérailleurs, Syncros Shifters, Headset, Bottom Bracket, Seat post, Delta Brakes, and Levers, Real Nice Stuff, Possibly NOS. The headset top nut has slight chew and the Pantographed Chain Rings have Grease, and appear they could be used. Bike has San Marco Laser Saddle, Pinarello 3TTT Stem and 3TTT Competizione Handlebar. The wheels are 700c Campagnolo C Record Hubs laced to Mavic GP4 Tubular rims with tubular tires. Rims Show No brake surface wear but the green rear tubular does not hold air very long. This is a Super Sweet Italian Vintage Bike for a Collecting or a Retro L’Eroica Rider.
