This is a Classic Vintage Bob Jackson Racing 10 Speed Touring Road Bike from 1975. Bob Jackson or JRJ “John Robert Jackson started making bicycles 1935 for local local sale. JRJ / Bob Jackson soon supplied high quality bicycles to all of the United Kingdom and later the world abroad. This Bob Jackson is a Touring Bike Hand made in Leeds UK of Reynolds 531 Steel tubes and adorned with Campagnolo Record Parts & Mafac Cantilever Brakes and 27″ x 1 1/4″ Wheels. This Bicycle is original as found and would be a great addition to a collection or a Retro Rider.

This is a nice original vintage bike, it came from a collector, and it may of been rebuilt or at least tuned, I have ridden it few times and it rides real nice. The Bike is most likely considered a 24″ and it measures 59.5cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube or 61cm Center to Top of the top tube. The top tube is 57cm center to center and the head tube is 176mm tall. The Frame and Fork are Reynolds 531 Steel Tubing. The bike has Campagnolo Parts: Mostly Nuovo Record Group. Cranks, Front and Rear Dérailleurs, Headset, Bottom Bracket, Pedals, & Brakes Levers. It has Mafac Cantilever Brakes, a Leather Brooks Professional Saddle, and Cinelli Stem and Handlebars. The 27″ x 1 1/4″ wheels have Campagnolo Tipo Hubs laced to what looks to be Rigida rims and has Carlisle gum wall tires. The Serial # 117xx is on the bottom bracket and dates the bike around 1975. This Bike is a Great Survivor, Although I Consider this one of my Personal bikes everything is for sale. Enjoy.
