The Colson Corporation has a long heritage in the bicycle market, making bicycles from the turn of the century into the 1950s. Colson made High Grade bicycles with Quality Construction and Amazing Designs. Colson is easily the second best built antique bike, second only to Schwinns Superior Quality. This Colson Flyer is an Mid Line Bicycle that was called the Standard Series Equipped Model.

This Bike was originally made by Shelby Bicycles for the Gambles Department Stores. Gambles was one of Shelbys Biggest customers, selling Bikes that were badged and branded as Hiawatha’s. This Hiawatha Rat Rod is adorned with some of Shelbys top features and a Patina to make her one Bad Rat Ride.

This is a 1940 Shelby SUPREME Ballooner Bicycle with a Long Tank. Shelby Produced Quality Bicycles with Distinct Style, were Made from the Mid 1930′s to the Mid 1950′s and are Highly Sought after by Bicycle Collectors. This Shelby has the SUPREME Badge and a Cool Shock Ease Fork which is a Shelby Designed Springer Suspension Fork that has the Spring in the Head Tube and Pivots on the Middle Bolt. This Shock Ease Works Great and is One of My Favorite Springer Forks. Don’t be Fooled by thinking Cannondale Invented the Head Tube Shock First, Shelby’s Engineering was Progressive and Decades before it’s Time.
