The Racycle was the top of the line bicycle made by The Miami Cycle & Manufacturing Co. out of Middletown Ohio. Miami Cycle & Manufacturing Company produced high quality Bicycles from the 1990s to the 1920s. The Racycle boasted its unique hanger that provided better balance. You can credit Miami Cycle to be one of the great over designers of the time but that uniqueness also make them so collectible. As a collector your will most likely look past many Miami Bicycles until you are a True Connoisseur and then the Miami Cycle will be on the fore front of your collecting. This Vintage Triumph Motorbike Bicycle was made by Excelsior Manufacturing Company Michigan City Indiana and Rat Rodded by Lux Low. The Triumph Rat is a H P Snyder (Aka Rollfast) made Steel frame believed to be from 1926 to 1932. I Found this Excelsior Triumph as a Frame, Badge, Tank, Fork, Struts, & Headset, I noticed it’s Wonderful Patina and knew she was a Perfect Lux Low Candidate. The Carcass was missing the Fenders and wood wheels and I immediately knew it would make a wicked Rat Rod putting her back on the road in style.

The Flying Merkel was Miami Cycle’s Second best Bicycle lines, Second to the the Top of the line Racycle Bicycles. The Flying Merkel line offered Bicycles and Motorcycles both Equally Rare.

Antique Reading Standard Wood Wheel Bicycle made by Great Western Manufacturing Company of La Porte, Indiana around 1917. The Reading Standard started Manufacturing Bicycles in Reading Reading Pennsylvania at around 1906 to 1910, as the Bicycle industry suffered, companies were merged or bought to survive the hard times. Great Western Manufacturing Company acquired Reading Standard and was the second largest bicycle manufacturing company to survive the downturn, Second to Pope’s American Bicycle Company Trust (ABC).
