Vintage Schwinn Bottom brackets are 28tpi, This bottom bracket will not work with a Vintage Schwinn crank, but will work in a vintage Schwinn bike is you use our 24tpi cruiser crank. A Good General Knowledge of Bicycle mechanics is strongly suggested when in stalling this product. When installing headsets and bottom brackets you should install the whole produce and do not cross install what you have with the new product. Replace the whole bottom bracket. Classic Cruiser Bearing cup sizes are the same for all makes of classic cruiser bikes, In Rare cases Vintage Bikes that have seen lots of use can have stretched bottom bracket shells, in this rare case the use of shims may be necessary to in sure a proper fit when installing. Quality Chrome Steel Cruiser Bike one piece Crank. Crank is 7" or 175mm Crank center to pedal center. 7" is typically the size crank on all adult cruisers new and old. The Crank has 24tpi that is common to new and some vintage make bikes. The tpi (threads per inch) is the threading where the crank and the bottom bracket screw together. Fixed Gear Track Bicycle Single Speed Alloy Crank. The Cranks Length is 170mm length center to center and comes with a 44 tooth Ring. The Crank Mounts to a Square taper Bottom Bracket and has Single Speed sprocket that works with a 1/8" Chain. Cranks come in colors: Gold, Red, Blue, Orange, Purple, Silver, Green, & White. The Silver is Unpainted, The White is painted solid white and the other colors are painted metallics. This Triple Tree Fork 1" Threaded, Schwinn size with headset is ready to bolt on. All you will Have to do is Install the Cups, Bearings, and fork to your Vintage Schwinn Bike. Then adjust the Fork Legs with a 6mm allen wrench, to the Desired Length ( Use the fork legs at Full length for a Chopper raked look, Shorten and Cut The Legs for a Stouter Look. ) The Fork and headset will fit any Vintage Postwar Schwinn Bike. The Fork will not Fit 24" and 20" Stingray Men's bikes, we suggest you use out uncut Triple Tree fork for Those applications.
