This Bicycle was the Cutting Edge at it’s time, with a Design that Boasted the Design Similarities of a Suspension Bridge. Elgin TwinBars Very Unique, Highly Sought after By Collectors, and One of My Personal Favorite Antique Bikes. Twin Bars Have a Unique Frame that has no seat tube, an Incredible Head Shroud with logo on the Head tube, a Unique Tear Drop Pod around the bottom bracket, Finned air cooled Hubs, and Raised ridge Gothic fenders. Antique 1939 model Dayton Twin-Flex Bike. This Bike was Cutting Edge at its time, with Deluxe Dual Cushioning, boasting that it was the most important development since the coaster brake. The Twin Flex although Advanced were prone to problems, with a boys heavy use, thus Limiting the number of Twin Flexes existing today to a very small hand full. Twin Flexes are one of the Highest Sought after Rare Antique Bikes. Huffman Mfg. had a Lot riding on the Twin Flex Design, the Twin Flex was only manufactured for a Few years and he Bike Brought Rough times to Huffman with Design Flaws.
