The Schwinn B-6 Post war Autocycle is undoubtedly one of my Favorite Antique Bikes. The Incredible Schwinn Style and Quality are unmatched by any other Bicycle makers of the time. You may find an Antique bike more Unique or Rare, but not better. This Beautiful Maroon 1948 Schwinn B-6 is the First Truss Rod B-6 I have Restored and I prefer the Ride to the Deluxe Springer Optioned B-6 Bicycle. This Schwinn B-6 can and is Ridding Daily in Style and Comfort, She was Build to say in the Stable, but is welcome to join yours.
This Schwinn B-6 has Extensive Lux Low paint work: Double striped parts like: Ballooner Cantilever Frame, Big Ballooner Duck Tail Fenders with a working Train Light and rear reflector, B-6 Horn Tank with working horn, 6 Hole rack & Glass reflector, truss fork, and phantom chain guard. the parts are Sweet Re-chromed Original Schwinn Parts: AS Headset, AS Bottom Bracket, Phantom Sprocket, AS Crank, AS Seatpost Clamp Struts, Fender Braces, Sprag Kick Stand, AS Razor Stem. Re-chromed and rebuilt Morrow Coaster Brake and AS Schwinn Fore Brake Drum Brake and Lever. The Seat post, Handlebars, Schwinn Grips, Glass Reflectors, Chain, and Union Block pedals are Nice Reproductions. The Saddle is a Lux Low Restored Deluxe Postwar Mesinger: Springs and Pan are powder-coated for durability, comfortable high density foam is used with a Genuine Leather top, boasting original style and comfort. The Crash rails are re-chromed and Seat has the Brass Schwinn Tab. The wheels are Original Chrome S-2 Ballooner 26″x2.125″ Rims. The Wheels are Rebuilt with Sweet Stainless Steel double Butted Spokes to a Re-chromed front AS Schwinn Fore Brake Drum Brake Hub and the rear to a Re-chromed Morrow Coaster Brake. Tires are New Schwinn Brick Pattern 26″x 2.125″ black wall tires. The Schwinn Planes and Trains Brass badge is a Badge is a Real nice Original. She is a Stunning 1948 Schwinn B-6 Bicycle that would make a Great Daily Rider or Adorn any Collection.
