This is a 1940 Shelby SUPREME Ballooner Bicycle with a Long Tank. Shelby Produced Quality Bicycles with Distinct Style, were Made from the Mid 1930′s to the Mid 1950′s and are Highly Sought after by Bicycle Collectors. This Shelby has the SUPREME Badge and a Cool Shock Ease Fork which is a Shelby Designed Springer Suspension Fork that has the Spring in the Head Tube and Pivots on the Middle Bolt. This Shock Ease Works Great and is One of My Favorite Springer Forks. Don’t be Fooled by thinking Cannondale Invented the Head Tube Shock First, Shelby’s Engineering was Progressive and Decades before it’s Time.
This Cool Green Beast has a Air Flow Frame, Rare Long Teardrop Tank, Shock Ease Fork, and Zeppelin Type Chain Guard. This Pre War Bicycle is Bigger than Post War Vintage Bicycles, Making It a Great Bike For Taller People. The Laid Back Seatpost also Gives More Length for a Laid Back, Comfortable Ride. This is a Full Size Men’s Bicycle with 26″ x 2.125″ Green Drop Center Wheels. The Wheels have a Front and Rear New Departure Black Out Hubs. The Wheels have been Rebuilt, Trued and have Schwinn Brick pattern Whitewall Ballooner Tires and has the Rare Skiptooth Chain and Drive.
