This is an Antique 1939 Mercury Streamlined Ballooner Bicycle that’s Quite Rare and Highly Sought after by Collectors and Bicycle Enthusiasts because of it’s Sweet Styling. Vintage Mercury Bicycles were made Built by Murray of Ohio, the Same Builders of the also Amazing Sears Elgin Bicycle.
This Bicycle is a Lux Low Patina Restoration and was Completely Disassembled, Cleaned, Visually Inspected, Straightened, Repaired and Reassembled. The Painted parts were Deep Cleaned and Resealed for Luster and Protection. Lux Low Patina Restored Bicycles have Added Protection from the elements and the Mechanical Rebuild Assures a Smooth Ride and Comfort for Effortless Pedaling. It has More Gorgeous Styling on the Deco Chain Guard and has a Skiptooth Chain and Drive with Cool Tear Drop pedals, and Drop Stand Kickstand. It has Amazing Original Leather Persons Deluxe Saddle, a Deco Rack with Jeweled Reflectors and Cool Crested Gothic Murray Mercury Elgin Fenders. The Rims are Painted, Dropcenter and Laced to New Departure Hubs that were Rebuilt and the Wheels Trued with New Goodyear pattern 26″x2.125 Ballooner Blackwall tires.
